how to Create Cost Center in Tally

Prepare the Cost Center from the following information given below.

Capital introduced in business Rs.1500000.

Purchased 2000 bags @ 500 from Mr. X

Salary paid to Mr. PQR Rs.20000, Rs.30000, and Rs.40000 respectively for cash. Prepare it as a Cost center.

Setting of cost center

Go to the Accounting Voucher

Press F11

Maintain cost center-Yes & save.

How to create cost center

Go to Accounting Info.

Select cost center

Select create& Press Enter

Fill the format like, Name: Mr. P, Mr. Q & Mr. R

Finally Save it.

Then Go to the Accounting Voucher

Choose Payment Voucher or, press F5

Create the salary Ledger Or Press ALT +C to direct create

Cost center are applicable-Yes

Then fillthe Format is given below

Press Enter

Amounts are Automatically Show.

Dr.Salary A/c……………………………………………….90000

            Mr. P      20000 Dr

            Mr. Q      30000 Dr

            Mr. R       40000 Dr

Cr.Cash A/c………………………………………………………………………..90000

Finally save it.
